Neither adult eels or eggs have ever been documented inside the Sargasso Sea for the duration of spawning, while newly hatched eels are discovered there. Presumably, spawning occurs in deep water, plus the adults die shortly just after, leaving no trace but their offspring.What is actually extra, th
